Sourced from select Barossa Valley Shiraz vineyards, the 2019 vintage reveals layers of floral notes, glazed berry fruits and rich pastry-like aromas, complemented by savoury hints of cured meats, thyme and finely integrated oak. A true Penfolds classic, St Henri Shiraz offers a distinctive alternative to the renowned Grange style. First released in the 1950s, this time-honoured wine remains proudly independent of fashion, crafted without new oak and matured in large seasoned vats to preserve the purity, texture and character of exceptional Shiraz. The 2018 vintage reveals a complex bouquet of black olive, wild rocket, fig, rhubarb, cinnamon and savoury Mediterranean notes. The palate is rich and layered, with flavours of white plum, fresh fig, liquorice and toasted pumpkin seed supported by finely etched tannins and refreshing acidity. Plush yet refined, St Henri combines generosity with remarkable longevity, rewarding both immediate enjoyment and careful cellaring through to 2055.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon parcels sourced from vineyards throughout the Barossa. The fruit is fermented for up to 14 days, then aged for 12 months in a mix of French and American oak. Individual parcels of fruit are matured separately to maximise the blend's complexity and finalised through a selection process. The resulting wine is rich and concentrated with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits, blackcurrants and plums with mint and varietal leafy notes. The palate is plush with flavours balanced by fine, textural tannins.
