Lindauer Special Reserve is a drier style wine with a vibrant gold colour. The high proportion of Pinot Noir adds weight, flavour and depth of colour. The Chardonnay adds creamy notes while the Pinot Meunier gives fruit weight and fleshiess. The biscuity, yeast and toasted nut characters are a legacy of extended maturation on yeast lees. Replacing Brut Premier in 2021, the latest release from the family-owned Champagne House takes the multi-vintage cuvée to higher grounds. The innovative creation of the Perpetual Reserve (a blend of non-malolactic 50% chardonnay and 50% pinot noir set aside and blended in closed stainless-steel vats every year since 2012); coupled with the influence of Roederer's sustainable organic and biodynamic farming; and the use of an extensive palette of oak-aged Reserve wines in the cuvee; all combine to bring a never-seen before dimension in the multi-vintage champagne world. Each Collection is numbered and represents the number of blends created by the House since its foundation in 1776.

Clear, bright appearance. Pale gold with a greenish fleck. Looks nice and fresh! Really positive, mineral, almost saline character. Pretty complex stuff, flint & white blossom mingling with creamy brioch and baked peach aromas. This chardonnay exhibits an elegant, nervy delicacy which belies the power and depth of flavours that ripple across the palate. Nice, fresh, saline tastes certainly hang around well after tasting. Ready for immediate enjoyment from today but absolutely built to gain layers from time in bottle for those who like to wait. Match with pork cutlet, hazelnuts and sauce vin jaune.

Deep, rich ruby tones. Darker and more moody than its sister wine the Blue Rock Pinot Noir. Ripe scents of dark cherry and plum with a high level of complexity; liquorice, herb and some delicate florals, very classy oak which is sitting at a really nice level offering terrific support. Delicious, vivid, ripe and sweet fruit in the core, framed by fine and silky tannins. An abundance of intensity but delivered with elegance and poise. Match with rolled hogget roast stuffed with sweetbreads and served with jus gras and crispy agria potatoes.

Nice, vibrant ruby red colour. Sweetly scented and classically "Martinborough" with a nice balance of red cherry, pretty florals and savoury, earthy notes. A delicious array of ripe and succulent red berry/cherry flavours and layers. Lovely spice and quite a lot of fruit and oak sweetness on the finish, complimented nicely by silky tannins and delicate acidity. Nice, fresh and youthful Pinot Noir expression. Great drinking now and will cellar nicely for 5 plus years. Food match with braised rabbit pappardelle.
