Lindauer Special Reserve is a drier style wine with a vibrant gold colour. The high proportion of Pinot Noir adds weight, flavour and depth of colour. The Chardonnay adds creamy notes while the Pinot Meunier gives fruit weight and fleshiess. The biscuity, yeast and toasted nut characters are a legacy of extended maturation on yeast lees. Pretty complex stuff, flint & white blossom mingling with creamy brioch and baked peach aromas. Deep, rich ruby tones. Darker and more moody than its sister wine the Blue Rock Pinot Noir. Ripe scents of dark cherry and plum with a high level of complexity; liquorice, herb and some delicate florals, very classy oak which is sitting at a really nice level offering terrific support. Delicious, vivid, ripe and sweet fruit in the core, framed by fine and silky tannins. An abundance of intensity but delivered with elegance and poise. Match with rolled hogget roast stuffed with sweetbreads and served with jus gras and crispy agria potatoes.

A delicious array of ripe and succulent red berry/cherry flavours and layers. Lovely spice and quite a lot of fruit and oak sweetness on the finish, complimented nicely by silky tannins and delicate acidity. Nice, fresh and youthful Pinot Noir expression.
