Mt Difficulty is a boutique winery located in Bannockburn, Central Otago, and was named after the mountain overlooking Felton road and the southern Cromwell basin. As the vineyards are ageing Mt Difficulty are starting to see additional complexity emerging each vintage. Inviting and opulent, the palate is flush with sweet cherry & blueberry, followed by trademark earth & savoury notes and framed by baking spice and fine grained French Oak. The fruit floods through to the finish with a juicy balance, indicating acidity that will keep the wine aging well.

The grapes for Roaring Meg come from Mt Difficulty's Cromwell basin vineyards managed by their dedicated viticultural team. The addition of fruit from their Bendigo vineyard has lends a powerful, darker edge. Roaring Meg Pinot Noir features red, blue and black berry fruit aromatics. The palate is harmonious with rich dark berries and a savoury line underneath. A hint of spice and dried thyme complement the succulent fruit. Fine silky tannins frame the wine with a great flow and finish.

A vibrant bouquet of black cherry and wild herb give way to a supple palate. Flavours of cherry and sweet brown spice are supported by finely textured tannins leading to a long, satisfying finish.

A beautifully perfumed nose packed with wild red and black berry fruits, toasted brown cooking spices and lifted floral notes, layered over a subtle earthy background. The palate is juicy and lively up front, brimming with red cherry, plum, lightly roasted coffee beans and just a hint of sweet baking spice. A streak of fine acidity brightens the mid palate, blending seamlessly with fine powdery tannins to lift the palate towards a satisfying elegant finish.

Upon release the wine is bright ruby in colour. There is a teasing array of vibrant red fruit on the nose including raspberry, pomegranate, cherry and plum. Spice and herbal notes, as well as a savoury underlay, add to the wine's complexity. While the palate has generous fruit weight and velvety tannins, it is balanced with refreshing acidity and a structure that gives the wine classic North Canterbury tension and pinosity.

Named after the historic Cellar 23 at Penfolds' Magill Estate, where Pinot Noir barriques are matured, Bin 23 continues the winery's long-standing pursuit of cool-climate Pinot Noir. Crafted from premium Tasmanian fruit, the 2024 vintage highlights the purity and finesse of one of Australia's most celebrated Pinot Noir regions. Raspberry red in the glass, it opens with aromas of fresh raspberry, dark berries and plum, layered with earthy notes, a hint of briny caperberry and subtle savoury complexity. The palate is beautifully balanced, combining juicy berry and stone fruit flavours with fine graphite-like structure, crisp acidity and silky tannins that carry the wine to a long, elegant finish. Land that was once a high country sheep station is now a flourishing vineyard. Sheep and rabbits co-existed on the land for quite some time but the sheep couldn't keep up with the nocturnal activity of the rabbits, and in the end were driven off the land. Rabbits now run free on the vineyard and fuelled by high altitude Pinot Noir, some are reputed to be the size of ponies, but that's another story... The Rabbit Ranch Pinot Noir is made in a very soft, fruit forward, low tannin style - a wine to be savoured and supped, rather than an assault on the senses.

Rapaura Springs Reserve wines are expertly crafted from selected vineyards with impressive flavour concentration and palate weight. Reserve wines define their region. Lovely ripe berry and dark cherry fruit notes combined with attractive smoky and spicy elements. Fleshy berry fruits and spicy oak nuances are to the fore on the full, rich palate.
