To celebrate the rebirth and beginning of a new chapter in Irish Whiskey's new Golden Era, Teeling Whiskey is proud to release the Teeling Renaissance, a limited series of Single Malt bottlings, celebrating the very best Teeling Whiskey has to offer. The Renaissance Series No.5 consists of 18YO Single Malt that was aged initially in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished in ex-Calvados casks, imparting a beautiful range of sweet fruit flavours with a soft spiciness. Limited to just 9,000 bottles, the resulting Single Malt is then bottled at 46% with no chill filtration.

Through innovative cask maturation and finishing techniques, we have crafted a unique, award-winning Teeling Irish Single Malt Whiskey full of flavour.

The influence of rum casks and higher alcohol (46%) creates a smooth, sweetly mellow, gently wooded marriage that sparkles on the tongue. Heartwarming.

Nose: White peaches, cut grass, white chocolate and a hint of toasted almonds. Taste: Silky smooth with ripe peaches, honey, smoked sea saltiness and subtle spices on the tongue. Finish: Long and mellow with a continuation of the sweet spice.

Teichenné, S.A. is a family business dedicated to the production of liqueurs and derivatives. Their range of products dates back to 1956, when oenologist Juan Teichenné Senaux left France for the Catalan region of Spain, set up a winery in the small town of L'Arboç and began handmaking liqueurs. The craze for Teichenné spread around Spain and by 1989 the brand was the market leader.

To create The Balvenie PortWood 21 year old single malt whisky, a marriage of rare Balvenie is transferred to port casks, or pipes, which have held fine port wines. Here it is sampled regularly by The Balvenie Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE to ensure that just the right amount of character is imparted by the port casks, enhancing and developing the single malt whilst preserving its original characteristics.

Double cask maturation in bourbon oak and quarter casks for depth and richness layered with rich ripe fruit, creamy vanilla, fresh wood smoke and intense oak spice.

The taste is rich and mellow; cool on entry then as it reaches the back palate you can feel the warmth and absolute purity of slow unhurried distillation. This is a bewitching, delectable and luxurious gin; its citrus. Freshness excites and stimulates the taste buds allowing you to experience a starburst of flavours as they explode across the palate. All this from a beaten up old pot still, operated by beaten up distillers on the coast of heaven.

Under the watchful eye of Dalmore's Master Distiller, the spirit is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. This is the perfect start to the maturation journey as it develops their house style of chocolate, orange and spice. This Dalmore is then fully finished in casks having held a very unique sherry, created especially for The Dalmore - a blend of classic & aged oloroso and rich & sweet Pedro Ximénez, formulated to provide the perfect enhancement to their house style. The result is a stunning and elegant Dalmore single malt, bursting with sweet fruit and decadent spice.
