The year 1800 was the first time tequila was aged in oak barrels. 1800 Tequila celebrates this moment when tequila first broke with conventions and did something different - created a smoother, more characterful liquid. 1800 Reposado is crafted using up to eight year old 100% Weber Blue Agave and is matured in American and French Oak barrels for no less than six months. This rich liquid has notes of buttery caramel, mild spices and a touch of smokiness, which is imparted by the finishing process. Perfect mixed in a cocktail, sipped neat or on the rocks.
